There’s is nothing better (well … except maybe a warm chocolate chip cookie!) than spending the morning at Naples beach.

The Gulf of Mexico is like glass with barely a ripple spreading across its waters. And speaking of water, boy was it clear today! Absolutely gorgeous! I’m sure this photo doesn’t do it justice but I can’t resist sharing anyway. If you have the chance, I would encourage you to check it out in person.

What’s also great is that this time of year the temperature of the Gulf of Mexico is like bath water. It may not exactly cool you off, but it is so nice to just walk right in. I tend to prefer it that way.

Here’s how the water looked this morning at Naples beach …
