I love mornings at the Naples beach and apparently these Ibis do, too!
Occasionally we’ll drive along Gordon Drive, a road that parallels the beach and features the most exquisite and, in turn, the most expensive homes in all of Naples. It’s nice to see how the other half lives!
Then we’ll park at 33rd Avenue South and walk the beach, which is really peaceful at this end of town because you’re surrounded by multimillion-dollar single-family homes and nothing more.
This is what I love about Old Naples and Port Royal, the southwestern most sections of Naples … every street from 7th Avenue North south to 19th Avenue South, plus 32nd and 33rd Avenue South, ends at the beach. If you have a beach parking sticker, you can park for free in any of the parking spots. If you don’t, park in the spots that have meters and bring quarters.
Some of the streets even have showers and picnic tables.
It’s what I love best about living close to Old Naples!
