Naples•isms: All Things Naples Florida

I love going down to the Naples Pier.

I don’t know what it is … Maybe it reminds me of the boardwalk along the Jersey Shore or maybe it’s just because it’s a Naples Florida landmark. Then again, maybe it’s because it’s a great spot to spot dolphins playing in the Gulf of Mexico.

What I do enjoy about strolling along the Naples Pier is the fishermen that are there morning, noon and night trying to catch whatever’s in-season. I haven’t tried fishing at the Pier (I’ve only fished off a charter boat in the Gulf or in the backwaters), but it seems like it would be fun and relaxing.
